After having one of the worse Mondays of her life, Lola Rose wakes up to a nightmare. Does she have what it takes to push through the pain? Does she have enough faith to see the light at the end of the tunnel?

After being sucked into her husband's dreams, can Lola fight and find her way back to the life meant for her? Will she find the kind of love that feels like home? Can she trust her instincts again?

Knock-Out Rose is a story of love and restoration, strength and faith. With a strong spiritual foundation and her family by her side, Lola has to prove to the world and herself that she's strong enough to live and love beyond the pain."

4 Bonuses at the back of Honey in My Tea

1.  Open Letter to a Nostalgic Cheating Husband
2. What You Deserve (excerpt from The Blessed Woman Endeavor)
3. A Queen's Portion (excerpt from You Inspire Me) and
4. Leya's Yummy Pizza Dough Recipe (used by Erin in the book)

A reader emailed me to let me know that "Honey in My Tea is a really great read!"
Read it free on Kindle Unlimited.  Don't have a Kindle reader?  No worries. Download the app to your phone or computer.

Erin Goodchild loves babies- everyone's babies. Erin has known since she was a little girl that she was born to be a mother. Life as a photographer and doting aunt assures that her life is full of children. Though, after thirteen years of marriage without a child of her own, she's teetering on the brink of insanity and brushing up against the point-of-no-return. Wanting just one little baby seems like such a simple desire, right?

Well, toss in medical issues, heartbreaks bigger than the ocean, and a husband who refuses to "cooperate" and you're in for an interesting roller coaster ride. Throw in Erin's wild, over-the-top family and friends, for a Southern journey that will leave you speechless, laughing, or smiling way down deep inside.

Desperate to make her dream of motherhood come true, there's no telling how far Erin will go. Can faith, patience, and love sustain her? Will she survive when the love she has for someone else collides with the love she has for herself?

Big-hearted and honest, Honey in My Tea explores different phases and colors of love, relationship, and family. Honey in My Tea shows us how confidence, bravery, and a new direction can help us learn who we really are and reveal inner strength we weren't certain we had.

An Open Letter to a Nostalgic Cheating Husband

Here's an excerpt from a piece I wrote called

"An Open Letter to a Nostalgic Cheating Husband."

"Don’t tell me what she did for you or how perfect she made you feel, how she stroked your ego, making you think her love was real. In the eight months you were together, I bet she never prayed for you.  I bet she never got on her knees in this crazy world and asked the Lord in heaven to save you.  I bet she didn’t stay when fun took flight like golden-winged warblers and the storms arrived, promising to devour everything in sight.  I bet she never gave birth to the greatest blessings of your life.  Was it her?  No, it’s me who tells your children to show you respect and love for your sacrifice..."

You can read the entire letter (a bonus) at the end of my novel Honey in My Tea, now available on Amazon.

My New Book "You Inspire Me"

Inspirational, encouraging, and uplifting, "You Inspire Me" is a devotional straight from Tondeleya Allen's heart. An optimistic attitude and positive words are liquid gold that can benefit each of us every day. Readers will find tools to triumph struggles, overcome negative thinking, and marginalize the naysayers and dream killers in their lives.

"You Inspire Me" explores the strength of women, our purpose in life, and steps that can be taken to transform our lives and make our dreams a reality. When we maintain hearts of gratitude and positive attitudes, there is no task we can't handle.

Tondeleya Allen, author of "The Blessed Woman Endeavor," "You Really Do Deserve Me," and "A Good Sandwich Can Save a Marriage," believes that faith is the cure for what ails us and that women have enough grace and strength coursing through our veins to handle every ounce of pressure life sends our way.

Be a Blessing Every Day

As followers of Christ, we are called to be a blessing every day.  In our hearts we are royally crowned, designed to walk with character and dignity, producing harvest that makes the Lord proud.
We were created to love God with all we do, whether it’s cooking breakfast, making the bed or finding a parking space at the mall.  Whatever you do, do it well.  Each minute we breathe, we should show up and give our best effort.  Focused on giving all He said to give, there are many ways we can be a blessing every day.
If your family had to give you a report card, what would your grade be?  Are you anticipating the needs of those in your family and making the load lighter for someone else if and when you are able?  Are you seeing the best in your family and building them up? Let’s make sure we’re not just screaming “what about me” all the time.
Genuine support is a rare find these days.  Let’s go the extra mile, even when we don’t feel up to it.  Jesus, an expert builder, wants us to build in the lives of others. Someone somewhere can benefit from what you have to offer.  Make optimism and providing answers be your calling card. Help others whenever you can.  Put forth your best effort to work well with others.
Kindness makes you beautiful.  Sow seeds of kindness, joy and love.  Realize that you may be the only one reaching out to someone.  So, keep encouraging even when others don’t.  Call people and see how they’re doing.  Check on friends you haven’t heard from in a while.  Tell someone you love them every day.  Any of us who have ever been thirsty for encouragement should appreciate the value in offering uplifting words to the people in our lives.  Sometimes a person just needs a little inspiration or a different thought to get them propelled in the right direction.  So, seize each opportunity to give away the grace God gives to us.
Giving to another person takes nothing away from us.  We truly help ourselves by blessing and supporting others.  Be a shoulder to cry on or a listening ear. Let others know that you understand what they’re going through. My grandmother Mary used to say “the person you help won’t always be the one to help you when you’re in need.”  Remember that the Lord will always make a way for you.  Those who give water will get water.  So, invest in yourself by investing in others.
Have you encouraged someone today? Think of blessing others as your mission.  Take a zest for life with you wherever you go.  Yell out and tell someone “you look pretty today,” which happens to be something my mother does often.  Girlfriends pray for one another often and ask the Lord to give the ladies in your life strength and guidance for whatever they’re facing.  Pray for the people in your life and hold someone’s hand just to let them know they are not alone.  Offer solutions and help others achieve their goals.  Share your gifts, knowledge and lessons acquired along the way.  Congratulate, compliment and cheer for others.  Be happy when others do well. The success of others is not your failure.
Let’s love our neighbors, even when their beliefs are different than ours.  Love and embrace others even when you don’t agree with their lifestyle.  Let the ears of your heart perk when you realize you are able and blessed enough to meet the immediate need of someone else.  Send out positive vibrations.  Let your joy, happiness and positivity be a good contagion.  We can all do good things.  The Lord, King of creation, has a specific plan for you.  Open your heart and allow Him to show you exactly how you can be the greatest blessing.

“Lord, help us to be powerful prayer warriors.  We’re eager to be a part of your will being done on earth as it is in heaven. Please keep blessing us, so that we can be a blessing to your kingdom.”

You Really Do Deserve Me

You Really Do Deserve Me is available on Amazon now!

"You Really Do Deserve Me" explores just a few of the qualities of a Super Wife, some things we can all try to have more peace in our marriages, and little ways wives can support and complement their husbands.

Dictionary.com defines complement this way: “something that completes or makes perfect.” That beautiful definition succinctly fits a Super wife to a T.

A Super wife is queen of motivation in her home. Her grace, strength, insight, comfort, resolve during a storm, brilliance, and even her joy make up a very unique skill-set that any man would be blessed to have. A Super Wife faces every challenge with optimism and strives to handle day-to-day circumstances with grace, strength, and humor.

This quick little read offers 52 affirmations and 6 Bonuses including:

* How I Saved My Marriage
* Who Told You No?
* A Mother's Work
* Room for What Inspires You
* Beautiful Smile Girl and
* A New Beginning

Tondeleya Allen, author of "The Blessed Woman Endeavor," believes every wife has the power to complement her husband and inspire him to be a better man.

The Blessed Woman Endeavor

Get your copy today on Amazon!

Read an excerpt from "I Am Enough"

"You belong to the Lord.  His faithful hand rests on you.  Your portion of eternal love is set.  Always know your worth.  You are a complete, content and confident conqueror.   You’re a survivor.  The championship ring has already been won.  Your past trials are now victories under your belt.  His staff of beauty and favor remains intact regarding you.  In Christ, you have no fear.  It’s the enemy who should be somewhere afraid and trembling.  You know who you are and what belongs to you.  You can really start living when you know your worth in Christ.
Never a fan of the convincing game, you refuse to waste a minute trying to convert anyone into a believer.  You’ve discovered that fitting in neither works nor lasts.  The world is way too fickle.  You see yourself as the Lord sees you and the picture is amazing.  You refuse to let others ask you to take an emotional seat at the back of the bus.
The world screams, “Don’t love yourself.  Compare yourself.  Doubt yourself.   Subdue yourself.  Be someone else.  Just sit down and let someone else.”  The world wants you to feel that you need society’s stamp of approval.  The world wants you to buy into its standard of beauty.  The world wants you to beg to be loved.
I have some good news for you.  Your beauty is not everyone else’s beauty.  The Lord, a magnificent artist, must love variety.  Your uniqueness.  Your heart.  Your eyes.  Your smile.  Your ideas.  Your creativity.  What a gift you are to the world.  Romance, nurture and cherish yourself.  Go right ahead and love yourself.   When you love yourself just as you are, the right people will love you too."

A New Beginning

Ever take the time to look at the drab and dreary trees that line the gray winter sky?  However dry and sparse in appearance, winter trees are still standing, firmly rooted.  At the core, bundled safely away inside, lies unseen potential and promise.  In a very important way, we are often like those trees.  Exposed to the harsh elements, we wait, rest and grow stronger, just anticipating the right time and circumstances to bloom.
Today may not look exactly as we want.  While we may not have all we desire or everything we think we should have, we are present for another day.  This day contains so much possibility and is a perfect backdrop for a new beginning.
No matter where you’ve been, what you’ve done or how much you’ve lost, you can always get your life moving in a new direction.  The time is seldom perfect and your first step may only have a sliver of light shining on it, but you can get moving. “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV
Don’t be afraid of making a wrong turn.  Don’t procrastinate because you’re afraid to start or afraid of rejection.  Don’t allow mistakes, experiences or what others think of you shackle you to the past.  Despite any obstacles you face, you can excel.  Your past does not have to define you and can only keep you captive if you allow it.  Make sure your actions are deliberate.  If it’s only an inch at a time, keep moving toward your new horizon.  Allow your faith and determination to lead your life in a more positive direction.   You are free to move higher, forward and upward.
What’s making you uncomfortable?  What are you sick and tired of in your life?  Unfortunate circumstances or undesired realities can be just what you need to get energized.  Ever feel trapped by missed opportunities, or the responsibility and obligations of your life?  Tired of how or where you live or the conditions at work?  Let that discomfort or dread be your fuel.
Let the Lord give you something fresh and new.  Believe it or not, He can bless you in your current situation.  Your heart screams out and vibrates for the chance to begin again, to show life just what’s inside of you.
Ever get the feeling that God is about to do something special in your life?  He’s about to open the door to the situation you feel imprisons you.  Joseph had a word from the Lord and knew he wouldn’t die in prison.  Unaware of the day or hour of his release, his heart knew that the day would come when a new beginning would be his reality.  Let’s praise the Lord now for His promises and the blessings your faith knows will be manifested later.
Set your goals and hopes before you.  Be determined to build something. Your expectations and hopes keep you vibrant.  Focus on areas where you are strong.  Keep track of what has worked for you.  Remember past successes and never forget how the Lord dealt with your anxieties and uncertainties by turning them into beautiful stories of survival.
You may feel lost, weighted down, off track, off in a ditch or stuck, but you can begin to turn the tide.  Perhaps trying a new way will yield better results.  Maybe a brook of long-standing provision suddenly dries up.  Well, now is your opportunity for new challenges, reimagined solutions and growth – the proof of life.  Remember that the greatest rewards are rarely attached to the easiest challenges.  Tough trials and roads lead to triumphs and victories.
In Christ, you are a new creation.   A new beginning can be yours.  So, let go of the death grip you have on your disappointments in life, yourself and others.  Grab hold of all the glory and confidence your future holds.  Commit to your new journey.

Other new creatures learn to walk, talk, run, fly and care for themselves?  What new thing will you do?  What will you learn to do in a new way?  What hurdles will you jump?  What bridges will you build?  What fears will you face and smash?  What offenses will you forgive?  What love will you give?  What gift will you share?  What dreams will you cherish?  How high will you soar?  How bright and warm will your new beginning be?

Please check back every Tuesday and Friday for something new!
